International and creative

Innovative and creative ideas are concentrated in the Rhine-Main region. This is reflected in the extraordinarily high number of new young companies: Offenbach's start-up rate is top in Germany. The dynamism, internationality and growth of the region are also manifested in the development of the European Central Bank (ECB): its new headquarters in Frankfurt's Ostend district rises into the sky within sight of Offenbach harbor. The Rhine-Main region is also one of the most important hubs on the global data highway.
