Friends of the Capitol Theater Offenbach e.V.
The "Friends of the Capitol Theater Offenbach" was founded in 2019 by citizens of Offenbach at the Capitol Theater. The purpose of the association is to support the Capitol Theater as a place of lively and high-quality cultural cultivation and as a historically significant location and to communicate this to the outside world.
The association focuses on supporting the Capitol Classic Lounge concert series and other productions for a variety of cultural purposes. The association aims to further strengthen and consolidate the theater's connection to urban society.
The Capitol Theater Offenbach is one of the most extraordinary venues in the Rhine-Main region: glamorous, festive, but also familiar in its own special way. And it has a significant history that reflects the best and darkest times of the 20th century - because the building was originally built as a synagogue for an important Jewish community. For many decades, it has been a venue for high-quality events in music, theater, cabaret, pop/rock and much more - and as a historical and cultural center, it is one of the places in Offenbach that most strongly conveys the feeling of an urban community.
Anyone who has always wanted to be a little closer to this special place and would like to take a look behind the scenes of the Capitol Classic Lounge is in good hands with the Verein der Freunde des Capitol Theaters e.V. (Association of Friends of the Capitol Theater). The membership form can be found on this website in the current CCL brochure.
