We're well prepared for the new indoor season
27.08.2026 – The term “summer break” is relative: The team at the Capitol Theater and Stadthalle has used this “free” time to thoroughly inspect the technology and equipment and prepare the venues for the upcoming season. Soon it will be time to take the stage again: With concerts and shows, interactive theater, and top international stars, the Stadtwerke Offenbach venues are kicking off a vibrant fall season.

“Live events thrive on these special moments—and they only happen when everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. That’s why we invest a lot of time every year in preparing our venues,” says Managing Director Birgit von Hellborn. On municipal stages, things can only reach new heights with certified equipment. The seven-person event and building services team (reinforced since August by a new apprentice) focused primarily on “rigging”—the term used to describe the construction, mounting, and securing of loads such as spotlights, loudspeakers, or LED walls. In addition, painting and repair work was carried out; the coat check area for Capitol guests was retiled; and the parquet flooring in the Stadthalle as well as the epoxy resin floor in the Capitol were thoroughly refinished. “Now we’re looking forward to kicking off the indoor season together with our audience—a season full of music and culture, entertainment, and unforgettable moments,” says Birgit von Hellborn.
CAPITOL
With a warm “Hello” and a tribute to one of the greatest singers of our time, the Adele Project will kick off the 2026–27 indoor season at the Capitol Theater on Saturday, September 5. The following evening will feature an interactive experience with “The Jury Experience: Diamonds, Lies, and a Dead Man”: The audience sits in the courtroom as part of the jury, examines evidence, and ultimately decides on guilt or innocence. The organizer has booked three dates on Goethestraße for this innovative theater format: September 6, October 18, and December 20, 2026.
Great classical music and an unplugged atmosphere
The Capitol Classic Lounge has long been a favorite: The opening concert of its 20th season on September 27 is dedicated to the theme of “Time”—ranging from Haydn and Ravel to film scores and pop, culminating in a musical fantasy inspired by the famous chimes of Westminster. The atmosphere will be no less captivating at “Legends” on November 1. Following a composition by the Offenbach-based Johann Anton André, the program will feature Mendelssohn’s “Scottish” Symphony No. 3, completed in 1842. Austrian singer-songwriter Alexander Eder also plans to create a great atmosphere in the large Kuppel Hall: Following his acclaimed unplugged performances last year, he is now embarking on an acoustic tour that will bring him and his band to Offenbach on October 11. The concert by the equally powerful-voiced Stefanie Heinzmann, taking place two weeks later, has been sold out for months.
In one of Germany’s most international cities, the Capitol’s program, as usual, caters to a diverse audience—whether with a concert in Romanian (Sept. 20), comedy in Bosnian (Oct. 10), flamenco in Andalusian (Nov. 9), a gala evening with Frank Martini in the style of the 1920s (Nov. 14), or theater in Polish (Nov. 21). For those who, given the ongoing heat, would like to let their minds wander to cooler climes, we recommend taking a look now at the dates for the frosty “Sterntaler” Advent fairy tale.
CITY HALL
Regardless of the weather, the Stadthalle is kicking off a sizzling fall: The “Home of Rock ’n’ Roll” is offering six standing-room-only concerts in October, and the action continues unabated after that. On October 3, Ufo361 will rap about his Berlin lifestyle, followed three days later by French singer and rapper Gims with his energetic live show. Hämatom invites you to “Gagamania,” the craziest tour in their band’s history, this fall in 2026: The four masked prodigies have announced a wild concert carnival for October 16 in Offenbach that will shatter all boundaries with brutal metal. Sounds unpredictable… but at least Deine Cousine knows on October 17 “how this evening will end.” The Hamburg-based artist, known from the hit VOX show “Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert,” comes across as both approachable and sassy.
Khalid and Tyla are coming in October
A globally successful superstar is coming to Waldstraße on October 20—and in Germany, his only other stop is Berlin. Khalid, whom Rolling Stone magazine has called a “pop prodigy,” has been streamed more than 35.6 billion times worldwide, has been nominated for seven Grammys, and has been honored with numerous awards. Anyone who wants to experience his hits like “Lovely” or “Young Dumb & Broke” live in Offenbach should hurry before all the tickets are gone. That’s already the case for the “Tour de Arsch” by the Frankfurt rap duo Mehnersmoos: Despite two shows on November 20 and 21 at the Stadthalle, not a single seat is left. However, tickets are still available for singer-songwriter Tyla, who celebrated her global breakthrough in 2023 with “Water,” on October 25, as well as for the heavy metal sensation Beast in Black on November 8 and the ’90s show featuring Haddaway & Friends, including Dr. Alban, on November 19.
The “Halle für alle” will also host many other events this fall: The calendar includes, for example, the NPC Worldwide European Championship Pro Qualifiers in bodybuilding (Sept. 12–13), mantra singing with Deva Premal & Miten (for the seventh time, on Sept. 16), Serbian pop with Aco Pejović and Tea Tairović (October 24), and world-class Bohemian brass music with Alexander Wurz and the Egerländer Musikanten (November 3). The popular Gem Days, featuring around 50 exhibitors from Germany and abroad, will take place on September 19–20. Clemens Brock, aka “Der Vadda,” will settle scores with the past on November 4; the Georgian National Ballet will present its spectacular show on November 13; and comedian Kaya Yanar will go “Lost” on Dec. 10—marking his eighth visit to Waldstraße.
