Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung supports Transition Classic Lounge

11.03.2022 – Making culture possible in difficult times: This is what the Cultural Foundation of Sparkasse Offenbach has made its mission during the COVID pandemic. This also includes the Capitol Classic Lounge's so-called transitional performance period, where barely a quarter of the usual seating capacity was permitted at the beginning.

They are looking forward to the concert on May 15: Dominic Biste, Member of the Board of Sparkasse Offenbach, Dr. Ralph Philipp Ziegler, Head of the City's Cultural Management, and the Chairman of the Board of Sparkasse Offenbach, Ulrich Kaßburg.

"It was a matter close to the Cultural Foundation's heart to provide substantial help here so that symphonic music can once again be heard in the Capitol during the restrictions," says CEO Ulrich Kaßburg. The Sparkassenstiftung has made 10,000 euros available. "That's an amount that really helps us," says Dr. Ralph Philipp Ziegler, Head of Municipal Cultural Management and Artistic Director of the Capitol Classic Lounge from the very beginning. At the "Ballad of the Golden Twenties" in March, the theater was almost half full again. "When you see so many people enthusiastically experiencing music together again, then you know that these are well-spent funds for Offenbach's culture," says board member Dominic Biste.

The next concert, "E.T.A. Hoffmann's 'The Mines of Falun' - a magical fairy tale in music" is on Sunday, May 15. Tickets are still available at the OF infocenter and at the following link:
