Festival of Lights 2024

It's the mixture that counts. And that has always been the case at the Festival of Lights in Büsingpark. A summery natural backdrop, a chic palace and an inimitable blend of musical styles that gives this special summer night a very special touch. A colorful symphony orchestra that not only plays intoxicating music from two to three centuries of classical music, but also unleashes a huge package of fun with lively music from pop, rock and film music. This musical breadth is what has made the Festival of Lights so special for a decade and a half: Not enjoyment alone, but also pure pleasure.

Fresh overtures and indulgent rock ballads, sparkling film music and great arias are just some of the highlights that characterize the musical breadth of this festival. Under the historic trees and in the light of tens of thousands of candles, which Offenbach clubs lovingly group into motifs, many thousands of visitors gather every year to experience this evening together between the neo-baroque Büsingpalais and the extensive park.

The Capitol Symphony Orchestra performs right in the middle of it all, offering fine tunes as well as smart grooves and a magnificent sound backdrop, making the summer air vibrate musically and the park tremble with energy in equal measure - in short, presenting an entire evening full of emotional moments.
