Second Sold Out Award for Alligatoah

More than almost any other German artist, Alligatoah stands for fun, danceable songs and wordplay as well as tolerance and acceptance. In his lyrics, the rapper and songwriter debunks the misconception of imposed ideals of beauty or fanatical world views and criticizes the mania for masculinity, especially in German rap. Enthusiastic fans celebrated him for this on Thursday evening, November 9, 2023, in the sold-out Stadthalle in Offenbach.

Alligatoah has been releasing his humorous and sometimes socially critical battle raps since 2006, catapulting him to the top of the German hip hop scene. He likes to add vocal interludes to his tracks and adorns them with quotes and cross-references - be it to the films "Clockwork Orange" and "Shining" or to other artists such as Cro and Iggy Pop. His 2022 album "Rotz & Wasser" rose to number 2 in the German album charts and his tour this year is sold out - as it was in 2016 when he performed at the Capitol in Offenbach. Now he can add one from the city's other event venue, the Stadthalle, to his Sold Out award from that year.

The rapper accepted the award directly before his concert in the Stadthalle. As always, Marcus Dörr from the artmos4 agency in Offenbach created an individual award, this time using Alligatoah's logo.
