1000 euros in donations collected for Offenbach children's and youth farm and forest zoo
05.11.2025 – Money was once again collected for a charitable cause in the foyers of the Capitol and Stadthalle. 1000 euros were collected in this way, this time 500 euros each for the Waldzoo and the Kinder- & Jugendfarm Offenbach e.V.
"We have been collecting donations for Offenbach associations and institutions since 2015 and the donation box will remain an integral part of our venues in the future," says Birgit von Hellborn, Managing Director of Stadthalle Offenbach and Capitol Theater Offenbach. "Thanks to the generosity of visitors, we have already been able to support the Theresien Children's and Youth Aid Center, the Fröbel School and the Offenbacher Helfen e.V. association in recent years."
The Offenbach children's and youth farm is a pedagogically supervised natural adventure playground where children can have responsible and creative experiences with building materials, plants and animals. In a relaxed atmosphere, children can build wooden huts, cultivate vegetable patches, look after the resident farm animals or use the open spaces to run around and play. On October 27, 2025, Birgit von Hellborn handed over the donations to Simon Isser from the supporting association Kinder- und Jugendfarm OF e.V.
The forest zoo is a small animal park in Stadthalle Offenbach's city forest and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Stadthalle Offenbach - both institutions share the same parking lot. The forest zoo provides a species-appropriate home for native wild animals and the occasional exotic animal from all over the world. The handover of the donations between Birgit von Hellborn and Jasmin Zimmermann from the forest zoo took place on October 28, 2025.
