Virtual e-bus tour
The Offenbacher Verkehrs-Betriebe (OVB) e-bus can be explored inside and out on a virtual tour. Various hotspots are waiting to be clicked on and then provide explanations about the technology and equipment, from the charging system to the pantograph on the roof and the USB socket inside the vehicle.

Subsidies
The conversion of the depot with a new energy supply and new charging infrastructure as well as 40 percent of the additional costs for the first seven e-buses compared to diesel vehicles was funded by the state of Hesse with 5.2 million euros from the European Structural Fund (ERDF). The federal government is providing eight million euros from the Energy and Climate Fund (EKF) to cover 80 percent of the additional costs for the other 29 e-buses that have already been ordered.
