Review event of the Electromobility Alliance
Four years ago, seven partners joined forces with their project ideas under the umbrella of the Regional Project Management Center of the Rhine-Main Electromobility Model Region and founded an alliance - the Electromobility Alliance. The aim of the alliance was and is to network the project plans of the individual partners in terms of content, to integrate electric mobility into mobility chains and to pool the knowledge and findings gained and pass them on jointly. After four years of the project, it was now time to take stock and celebrate joint successes.
The projects of the Electric Mobility Alliance primarily provide electric vehicles for various users. The use of the vehicles ranges from in-house use to integration into public mobility solutions. The alliance includes the projects E-Fleet operated at Fraport, eMiO electric mobility in Offenbach, Free - leisure and event transport with intermodally bookable electric vehicles, Leben im Westen - implementation of sustainable electric mobility in suburban residential areas, eMOMA - electric mobility management, the social and ecological accompanying research "Allianz Elektromobilität" and TeBALE - technical accompanying research "Allianz Elektromobilität".
The project management office invited representatives of the seven partners, sponsors and supporters from the worlds of politics and business to the Capitol Theater in Offenbach for the review event. The event was held in the style of a Hollywood film awards ceremony. More than 80 guests attended. Among them were Rainer Bomba, State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, Tarek Al-Wazir, Hessian Minister of Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development, Lord Mayor Horst Schneider and Head of Mobility Peter Freier.
The Alliance's seven demonstration projects were presented at the event with short image films that provided an insight into the respective projects and were subsequently honored with an award. As part of the evening program, trend observer Mathias Haas explained the megatrends of the future, in which electromobility also plays an important role. The subsequent get-together gave representatives from research, politics and business the opportunity to exchange information.

Hesse's Economics Minister Tarek Al-Wazir emphasized that electromobility is a solution to make transport more climate-friendly, especially in conjunction with the energy transition. "With electricity from renewable energy sources, this form of mobility is almost 100 percent climate-neutral," said Al-Wazir. The event clearly showed that Hesse is already one of the most active and dynamic regions in Germany in the field of electromobility. "We can build on the resulting network of companies, science and administration and the enormous wealth of knowledge and experience in order to further advance electromobility and thus achieve our ambitious climate protection goals," said the Minister. He also referred to existing and new funding opportunities offered by the state, such as the current support for the purchase of e-buses.
