Offenbach's waste calendar is digital! The Stadtservice app informs customers about the garbage can emptying dates and also takes last-minute changes into account. Alternatively, you can create your own individual waste calendar on this website and download it as a PDF.

Well informed with the Stadtservice app

Since January 1, 2023, the new Stadtservice app has replaced the previous ESO app. Intuitive to use and with a fresh design, the Stadtservice app provides you with reliable information about the emptying dates for your garbage cans. This means you always have the waste calendar to hand and are reminded of emptying dates on request. If the collection dates are postponed, the app automatically takes the alternative dates into account. The app also offers a wealth of additional information on waste disposal.

I can't find my address in the app or no collection dates are displayed for my address. What can I do?

Please send an email to appsupport.esostadtwerke-ofde describing the problem and giving your full address. In individual cases, data may not have been correctly assigned in the system. We will then make a correction.

Can I store the addresses of several properties in the app?

Yes, you can store several addresses in the app. To do this, select the "Address" field at the top right of the "Start" menu item and you can add further addresses or delete existing ones on this page.

What do I do if I have a problem with the app or a certain function is not available?

Please make sure that the latest update has been downloaded and that all necessary authorizations have been granted. If the problem persists, please send an email to appsupport.esostadtwerke-ofde. We will record your problem and discuss it with the developer

What do I do if I don't receive any notifications or reminders?

Please check your app settings to see whether you have allowed notifications to be received.
Android phones have a standby function for unused apps. If you do not actively open the Stadtservice app, the standby mode for the app may be activated. You can test this in the settings of your smartphone: Go to the settings and open "Battery and device management". In the next step, select the "Battery" item. Now click on "Background usage limits". Under this item, you can check which apps are currently set to standby.

Can I synchronize the data with my calendar?

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible in the app. However, you can download the iCalendar data for your property at www.offenbach.de/abfallkalender and integrate it into your calendar. However, if garbage can emptying is postponed (e.g. due to road closures or roadworks), the dates are not updated automatically - the data record contains the dates that are fixed at the time of download.

Simply select your street and house number and specify which collection dates you would like to be displayed. You can then create your own individual waste calendar and subscribe to the collection dates as an email notification, integrate them into your digital calendar as an iCalendar file, save them as a PDF or print them out.
