Overview of wastewater charges in Offenbach

Wastewater charges and wastewater contributions are levied on the basis of municipal statutes.

The fees for wastewater can be found in the property drainage statutes and the schedule of fees for the property drainage statutes:

Billing

The invoice for the wastewater fee, officially the sewer usage fee, is issued by the ZWO Zweckverband Wasser für Stadt und Kreis Offenbach on behalf of the ESO Eigenbetrieb Stadt Offenbach.

The payments on account are to be paid to an account of the Eigenbetrieb of the City of Offenbach.

Note:

Since the beginning of October, a new EU-wide regulation has been in force which obliges banks to carry out a recipient check. This may cause problems when transferring your fees. The correct account holder for the wastewater fee account is: Stadt Offenbach-Eigenbetrieb ESO Kommunale Dienstleistungen

Separate wastewater charge

Wastewater is made up of wastewater and rainwater; in Offenbach there is a separate wastewater charge, which means that the charges are made up of wastewater charges and charges for the disposal of rainwater.

The wastewater charge is calculated on the basis of fresh water consumption. The rainwater charge is calculated according to the paved and built-up areas of a property that are connected to the sewer network.

Blasting water meter

Fresh water used to water the garden does not have to be supplied via the sewage system. With a sprinkler water meter, also known as a garden water meter, the water consumption for the garden is recorded separately. This can save a portion of the wastewater charge.

We will be happy to advise you on the installation of a sprinkler water meter. Please contact our specialists before installation by sending an e-mail to abwassergebuehreneso-ofde or calling us on the following number: 069 / 84 00 04 - 379
