Thoughts from young people on the subject of death
In a project with the school chaplain, ninth graders from Offenbach formulated their thoughts on the subject of death.
"I imagine the sky in white, blue and gold. The people there are happy and peaceful. Everyone is walking around in white clothes and without shoes. Everyone lives like a family, without quarrels. Everything is perfect."
"I imagine life after death to be very beautiful. Clouds everywhere, angels and people I've lost. I think everyone is happy up there. I also believe that people I love are watching me from above to see if I do good or bad things."
"After death, I imagine that you go to a paradise and see your whole life again. Maybe you see dead people you know. And you live another life that you can live the way you always wanted to."
