Waste calendar for 2025 is online
23.12.2024 – The new waste calendar for 2025, which is now available online and in the Stadtservice app, tells citizens which garbage cans will be emptied by Stadtwerke Offenbach's Stadtservice and when, which collection dates will be postponed due to upcoming public holidays and when the discarded Christmas trees will be collected.
There will be no changes to routes in the coming year, so nobody will have to get used to a new collection day.
The waste calendar is now only available digitally. This saves resources, as the calendar now comprises 20 pages. Instead of having to leaf through these 20 pages, users can now enter their specific address online and then receive the valid collection dates for the garbage cans for residual waste, organic waste, paper and packaging. The collection date for Christmas trees in January is also included. These dates can then be saved as a PDF. Alternatively, you can download the individual collection dates as an iCalendar file or subscribe to email notifications.
The Stadtservice app also contains the collection dates for the individual property. In addition, the dates of the hazardous waste mobile, the opening times of the recycling center and the waste ABC can be called up here and it is possible to book bulky waste dates directly.
Customer service helps citizens without access to a digital waste calendar
Citizens who are unable to retrieve their collection dates from the Internet or download an app can contact the customer service team at Stadtservice. They will then help them individually. Questions about the waste calendar will also be answered here.
The employees are regularly available Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
However, there will be slight changes at the turn of the year: The customer service team will only be available by telephone on Tuesday, December 24, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, on Friday, December 27, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, December 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, on Monday, December 30, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Tuesday, December 31, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. In the new year, customer service will be available on Thursday and Friday, January 2 and 3, from 8 am to 3 pm, and on Saturday, January 4, from 9 am to 12 pm. From Monday, January 6, the staff will also be on duty again as usual in person in Daimlerstrasse.
The employees will also provide support in the district offices.
