New opening hours and construction work at the recycling center

Construction work is also currently underway on the site. In the first construction phase, the right-hand access road to the transshipment hall is being renewed. The second construction phase is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 11, in the area accessible to visitors and is expected to last until the end of November. Here, the paving stones in front of the bulk boxes, some of which are very worn, will be replaced. Temporary containers have therefore been set up for building rubble and plaster rubble, into which waste can be unloaded.

Citizens can continue to drop off their recyclables as usual, but space is somewhat limited. The recycling center team asks for mutual consideration when maneuvering and unloading in front of the containers and bulk boxes. For safety reasons, not as many vehicles and people will be allowed onto the site at the same time as usual. As a result, there may be waiting times during peak times - usually on Saturday mornings and shortly before closing time. Stadtwerke asks for your understanding and that you come by at other times if possible.
