Mühlheimer Straße: All lanes reopened
12.05.2025 – The sewer pipes have been laid, the asphalt has been relaid, the barriers for the construction site have been removed: all lanes on Mühlheimer Straße are now open again. The closure on Kettelerstrasse has also been lifted.
On Mühlheimer Straße between Kettelerstraße and Karl-Herdt-Weg, Stadtservice of Stadtwerke Offenbach laid the last section of the new drainage channel, which is six kilometers long in total and connects the new residential areas in Offenbach. The route runs from the Bieber-Nord development area via the An den Eichen residential area and the planned Quartier 4.0 at the former goods station as well as the "Bürgel Ost" development area down to the collector sewer on the Main. From there, the wastewater flows to the sewage treatment plant in Frankfurt-Niederrad.
