200 young trees for the city

200 new trees have been planted in Offenbach since January 2022. They were planted by Stadtwerke Offenbach employees from the Stadtservice's Green Services department and commissioned companies.

The new plantings are replacements for dead trees that had to be felled along the streets and in the green spaces. Among the new trees are twelve amber trees, which are considered resistant to heat and drought. The green team hopes that they will also thrive under the changed climate conditions in the city.
