Municipal utilities launch comprehensive survey

15.04.2026 – Stadtwerke Offenbach is launching broad-based market research in spring 2026. The aim is to survey the current image and awareness of Stadtwerke Offenbach's business areas and services. In addition, customer satisfaction is to be determined.

The various target groups that can contribute their perspectives also include employees. The external company mindline energy, which had already conducted similar market research for the municipal utilities in 2019, was commissioned to carry out the survey.

"The demands placed on us as a municipal company are changing rapidly - for example due to new technologies, a stronger focus on sustainability and the rising expectations of our customers," says Stadtwerke Managing Director Peter Walther. "This makes it all the more important for us to listen carefully. The market research provides us with a sound basis for measuring the extent to which and in which areas we have improved or deteriorated compared to the last market research, so that we can make any necessary adjustments."

Telephone interviews begin on April 21

A representative survey of citizens (aged 14 and over) is considered an important element in obtaining such basic information. The commissioned company, mindline energy, is therefore conducting telephone interviews with randomly selected private households in Offenbach from April 21 to May 15, 2026. The survey lasts around ten minutes, the answers are treated as strictly confidential and only evaluated in anonymized form. The customer survey will take place from May 4 to June 14, 2026. Customers will be directed to a survey link via a QR code on posters, displays and information boards in public spaces and via Stadtwerke's digital media. Depending on which services were previously used, it is estimated that it will also take an average of ten minutes to complete the survey.

Stadtwerke Offenbach is hoping for active participation and would like to thank the public and customers in advance for their willingness to take part.
