Figure of the month January: Employees stay 11 years on average

In the past few months alone, 11 employees from very different areas - Mobility and Real Estate, SOH and Stadtservice - have celebrated their 40th anniversary: from IT specialists to experts in the bus workshop or sports field management to financial accountants.

Would the 1,200 or so employees of Stadtwerke Offenbach Holding GmbH recommend their employer to others? The company also performs comparatively well in this survey, the so-called eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score): in the current survey, Stadtwerke achieved a score of 12 on a scale of -100 to 100. By comparison, the average score in the public sector at local level is -17.

One reason for the satisfaction with the employer is likely to be the good company practice for reconciling work and family life: Stadtwerke Offenbach has already received the city's UFF award three times for this, which recognizes particularly family-friendly companies. The offers include flexible working hours as well as further training programs, health promotion, a job ticket or bicycle and attractive additional benefits.
