ZWO supplies Offenbach with drinking water

The Zweckverband Wasserversorgung Stadt und Kreis Offenbach (ZWO) has been responsible for the water supply since 2016. The ZWO is a joint venture between the city and Offenbach.

The supply area includes the city of Offenbach and the towns and municipalities in the Offenbach district. It also supplies the Hanau districts of Steinheim and Klein-Auheim as well as the special-purpose association Gruppenwasserwerk Dieburg for the municipality of Messel.

The ZWO takes care of new house connections, fault services, consumption billing and the replacement of house water meters before the calibration period expires. It is involved in the further development of the municipal infrastructure in new residential areas in Offenbach and renews outdated pipes in the city area.

Quality of the drinking water

Both the drinking water and the groundwater and pipe water are constantly tested by a certified laboratory. This ensures that only the best quality drinking water is supplied.

Service and fees

The ZWO charges a fee for the supply of drinking water and sends out an annual notification of charges. The respective installments are calculated on the basis of the previous year's consumption. You can contact the ZWO customer center at Ziegelstraße 8 in Offenbach if you have any questions about the notification of charges or if you wish to change your bill.
