"The important thing is that each organizer decides for themselves whether their event takes place under 3G or 2G rules or is postponed," emphasizes Birgit von Hellborn, Managing Director of Capitol and Stadthalle. Queries about ticket refunds and the like are also handled by the organizer - "our phones are ringing off the hook, but we can't provide any information."
Since the state of Hesse revised the Corona Protection Ordinance in mid-September, there are no longer any general orders issued by local authorities. However, protective measures are of course still necessary for events - and these currently look as follows:
3G rules
- Admission is open to children and adults who have recovered, been vaccinated or tested (3G). Children up to and including the age of 5 are permitted to enter without a test.
- Documented school tests/test booklets are sufficient. If guests come from another federal state where no test booklet exists, the school ID card is also valid as proof.
- NEW from 11.11.2021: Tested adults require a PCR test certificate, testing must have taken place no more than 48 hours previously.
- Only for children and adolescents as well as people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (medical certificate required), an antigen test certificate is still sufficient.
- The 3G status will be checked and is only valid in conjunction with a photo ID.
- Masks are compulsory (from the age of 6) throughout the house. The mask may be removed at the seat in the case of relaxed seating with reduced capacity. In normal seating with full capacity, the mask must also be worn at the seat.
2G rules
- NEW since 3.11.2021: All guests aged 18 and over must be vaccinated or recovered. Proof must be brought along and is only valid in conjunction with a photo ID.
- Persons from 6 up to and including 17 years of age require a test, which must not be older than 24 hours when entering the house, documented school tests / test booklets are permitted as proof.
- Children up to the age of 5 are permitted to enter without a test.
- Persons who are not allowed to be vaccinated for medical reasons must provide proof of this. They also require a test, which must not be older than 24 hours when entering the building.
- Masks are not compulsory in the building.
- Normal row seating without spacing with full capacity.
The event calendars of the houses belonging to Stadtwerke Offenbach will now include a reference to 3G or 2G in the title. The current rules may change at any time - the websites will also keep you up to date.
