Stadthalle and Capitol: highlights and humor in autumn
28.08.2025 – Even if the weather outside still looks like summer, the meteorological fall has already arrived. And that means: it's getting atmospheric again at Stadtwerke Offenbach's event venues. After the summer break, the Stadthalle and Capitol Theater team is looking forward to a full program and many enthusiastic guests.
CITY HALL
This autumn, the multifunctional hall on Waldstraße will once again show just how versatile it is: "In October alone, there will be eight unseated concerts from a wide range of genres," reports Birgit von Hellborn, Managing Director of Stadthalle and Capitol Theater. "There are also completely new and tried-and-tested formats - it is precisely this variety that makes our municipal hall so attractive for everyone." The bodybuilding scene will be visiting Offenbach for the first time on September 13 and 14: NPC Worldwide in Germany is offering all fitness and bodybuilding enthusiasts a platform to develop their passion and ambition. More than 50 exhibitors from Germany and abroad will be presenting sparkling "Treasures of the Earth" at the popular Gemstone Days on September 20/21.
Then it's time: Clear the stage for the concerts. Deva Premal and Miten will once again create a temple-like atmosphere in the "Home of Rock'n'Roll": They are inviting their fan community to Offenbach for the seventh time to sing mantras together on October 2. On October 4, Feuerschwanz and Lord of the Lost will be taking a more devilish approach: the energetic German metal bands will be bringing joy, fire and darkness together on their "Lords of Fyre" tour. Shooting star OG Keemo presents innovative German rap on his 180 degree tour on October 23 in the Stadthalle, and just one day later Pendulum, one of the most successful electro bands, will follow: the drum and bass rockers from Australia performed in London's O2 Arena last year, among other venues. "Time to Move" is also the motto for H-Blockx on October 31: the legendary band from Münster released their debut album of the same name in 1994 and are now presenting new songs for the first time since 2012.
There are still some tickets left for the above dates - and it's worth grabbing them quickly: "Die Drei ???" on 22.09., Souly on 11.10. and the indestructible Sascha Grammel, who has already received four Sold Out Awards in the Stadthalle, on 14.10. are already sold out.
"Time to Move" - from temple-like to devilish
The "Halle für alle" in one of Germany's most international cities is once again offering a particularly varied program, including Sergej Ćetković & Severina, popular voices from the Balkans, on 3.10.Russian poet and musician Gio Pika on 25.10., Turkish music unplugged with Mor ve Ötesi on 2.11., singer Loboda, one of Ukraine's best-known pop stars, on 27.11., and Turkish stand-up comedian Cem Yilmaz on 28.11. In between, presenter and comedian Ines Anioli will be performing as "DanzingKween", the Offenbacher Sammelsurium will be showing wonderful and extravagant things for the 38th time (08./09.11.), and criminal biologist Dr. Mark Benecke will be investigating "Insects on corpses" (14.11.).
CAPITOL
At the Capitol, the dance and light show "We call it Ballet: Sleeping Beauty" gives the character a new dimension: first-class dancers in sparkling costumes bring the classic fairy tale to life after the summer break, and with it the Theater an der Goethestraße. The dazzling performance can be experienced on two dates on September 7 and November 2. The "Fast & Curios Tour" is billed by the organizers as the "most exciting podcast experience of the year": on 8 September in Offenbach, Lea-Sophie Cramer and Verena Pausder will dispel clichés and show how modern, fresh and exciting entrepreneurship can be.
"Back to the Roots" is the motto on September 13 with the family band The Petersens. The group from Missouri rose to fame with country and bluegrass music, and since 2019 their YouTube videos have attracted international attention and almost 250 million views to date. It continues on September 20 with "25 Years of Night Wash": the birthday tour brings the best stand-up comedy, rising stars and talented newcomers to the stage. The humor continues the following evening when Helge Mark makes a guest appearance in Offenbach on his first live tour. "Helge's hot hooves" trace his path from social media phenomenon to stage star.
"German things" and international guest performances
"German things" from days gone by are the theme of the Capitol Classic Lounge at the start of the new season: the program on 28 September ranges from the Prilblume to the Tagesschau melody to the original iPhone ringtone. Otherwise, the Capitol also reflects the international Offenbach: on October 3 and 4, Peđa Jovanović, one of the most popular singers from the Balkans, comes to Goethestraße with his Big Concert Orchestra, followed by an Italian show and plays in Russian and Romanian.
Two-time Grammy winner Suzanne Vega will perform her current tour "Flying with Angels" in the former synagogue on October 15: in addition to hits such as "Tom's Diner" and "Luka", she will also sing songs from her new album. With "Germany's next Speaker Star" including a telethon on 18.10., the "Magic of Travesty" on 19.10. and the band Faun on Hex-Tour 2025 on 26.10., the program of the city's event venues remains colourful and diverse this autumn.
