The City of Offenbach's economic development department started 2020 optimistically with the aim of further developing the business location and location marketing as well as providing increased support to companies and investors.
"Then the coronavirus pandemic influenced our actions and the focus of our work, and in some cases shifted it," says Lord Mayor Dr. Schwenke. Nevertheless, despite the changed circumstances and work under coronavirus conditions, many of the economic development agency's goals were achieved and Offenbach's economy received additional support during the coronavirus pandemic.
At the presentation of the 2020 annual report of the Economic Development Agency, Schwenke therefore emphasized: "This report presents all the activities that we have decided on and implemented, and also highlights the focal points of our work on the further development of the location. All of this shows that we take economic development seriously and support all activities at the location - even in difficult times."
