Since January 1, 2022, the city of Offenbach am Main has been a full member with a seat on the board of the financial center initiative Frankfurt Main Finance e.V. The initiative, which currently has 72 members, brings together representatives from politics, the financial industry and the FinTech sector to strengthen the importance of Frankfurt as a financial center and the Rhine-Main region. The initiative recently succeeded in bringing the seat of the future International Sustainability Standards Board to the Hessian metropolis. This board is to provide global standards for the comparability of corporate disclosures on social and ecological factors.
Dr. Felix Schwenke, Lord Mayor of the City of Offenbach am Main, emphasizes: "The Frankfurt Main Finance initiative gives us as the City of Offenbach am Main greater visibility as part of the Frankfurt am Main financial centre. We have the opportunity to make new contacts in the financial sector and to position Offenbach as an attractive financial and service location."

Their commitment to Frankfurt Main Finance strengthens cohesion and thus benefits the city and region as a whole. I am looking forward to the intensive personal exchange with our new members and am sure that we will mutually benefit from this. The steady influx of new members to Frankfurt Main Finance speaks for itself and I hope that many more players will join this important initiative in the coming years."
