Vocational orientation plays an important role in enabling Hessian companies to make initial contact with young people and get them interested in training. Work placements in companies are better than any theory.
This is why the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Areas is supporting the Hesse 2024 internship weeks this year. What has already been tried and tested in some regions of Hesse and successfully implemented throughout the state in other federal states is now also possible here in Hesse. Under the motto "5 days, 5 companies, 5 professions", young people can "get a taste" of different professions and get to know companies.
For companies, this is an opportunity to get to know the skilled workers and trainees of tomorrow.

and select your region. You can then select the areas of activity and days during the project period on which internships can be offered.
When do the internship weeks take place?
During the summer vacations and three weeks in advance (with time off from school) from June 24 to August 23, 2024. However, you do not have to cover the entire period, but can also offer internships on a daily basis - completely flexible.
Who can take part?
Young people from the 8th grade onwards from your region during the three school weeks and young people aged 15 and over during the vacations.
