Jochen Klinger, Steffi Adolf, Sibel Günay and Christopher Schaefer opened the somewhat different yoga studio in Offenbach's Nordend district just over a year ago, motivated by a shared desire to break out of their regular jobs and create a place where yoga is not only offered, but also lived. Values such as openness, freedom and trust are the cornerstones of the founders and these should also be reflected in the yoga store.

This is also reflected in their special payment model: "Pay what you can". Here you can do something good while doing yoga.

With their fair payment system, they took a special entrepreneurial risk that is almost unimaginable in the usual business world. "Everyone had doubts and yet we took the risk. Even though we regularly question ourselves, we certainly haven't regretted it," reports Christopher Schaefer, who is actually a banker.

The founders all trained as yoga teachers with the well-known yoga master Timo Wahl and at some point crossed paths as yoga teachers. Everyone has their own special role in the yoga store, for example the communication designer Sibel Günay is a bubbling source of ideas and the communicative center of the yoga store. This has resulted in many formats that also provide a platform for fellow yoga teachers: Movie Night, flea market for second-hand yoga stuff and much more. Steffi Adolf keeps many things together that are not visible from the front and ensures that everything in the yoga store remains cordial.

The company founders were inspired to create this type of yoga studio by Bryan Kest, the western yoga teacher who made yoga famous and brought it from India to Hollywood. From the very beginning, they have motivated the people who come to them to contribute their own ideas and get involved. This is why they are always in close contact with their customers - not only in the courses, but also on the homepage or in their own blog, where you can also find out about the financial situation of the start-up.
