The aim of the association is to maintain and preserve the cultural values, customs and traditions of the Egerland, the dialect, folk songs, folk dances and traditional costumes and to pass them on to future generations. In order to keep the association alive, great emphasis is placed on youth work. You don't have to be a born Egerländer or of Egerländer descent to participate in the youth groups and the Gmoi.
