Jazz e. V. Offenbach

JAZZ E.V. OFFENBACH was founded in 1991 and is dedicated to the idea of jazz as a musical greatness and its many facets in detail. Whether blues, ragtime, New Orleans, Dixieland, Chicago, swing, bebop, cool or hard bop, free jazz, fusion, funk or rock jazz are considered as a listening pleasure, all styles are represented at concerts. The bands organized and active in JAZZ E.V. are among the most renowned in the Rhine-Main region. Meanwhile, many young up-and-coming musicians who study in Cologne or Mannheim, are active in Darmstadt, Frankfurt and in the district, have accepted Offenbach as a jazz location. The concerts are popular regionally and give the formations plenty of space to present their path through jazz history. On the stages in the Bücherturm, Büsingpark and Lilitempel in the Kulturkarree in Offenbach or even on two levels in the Büsing-Palais, as well as in the Wiener Hof, the entire spectrum of jazz music is presented at up to 25 or more events a year. The promotion of young musicians is also a particular concern of the association.
