German Language Association

The non-profit organization Deutsche Sprache e. V. promotes German as an independent cultural language. It works together with language enthusiasts in Germany and abroad. The association, which promotes the reputation of the German language, has more than 36,000 members worldwide. The association publishes articles and contributions on the German language and manages or supports book projects. It also arranges speakers on topics relating to the German language, offers opportunities to meet friends of the German language all over the world and organizes and finances readings and lectures on the German language and its dialects. The association also invites language enthusiasts to engage with the German language in a variety of ways: in working groups, cultural events or public activities.
