Market house on Wilhelmsplatz

At Markthaus am Wilhelmsplatz, Eric Münch combines traditional Hessian cuisine with innovative gastronomy. Located directly at the historic weekly market, the menu offers a changing selection of fresh regional products. The building, which is steeped in tradition and well worth seeing, was built in 1911 as a shelter and tool shed for Offenbach's market vendors. The Markthaus am Wilhelmsplatz invites guests to enjoy home-style cooking in a cozy dining room and, when the weather is fine, on a terrace. Breakfast is offered until 12:00 noon, the lunch and dinner menu changes daily, seasonal specialties are served à la carte, as well as a large selection of beer specialties.
