Le Belge - Belgian Beerhouse
Beschreibung
Belgium - the small but charming kingdom on the North Sea has long been famous around the world for its comics, fries, waffles and a huge selection of beers. However, only a few "insiders" know that there is a colorful offshoot of the Flemish and Walloons in Offenbach. For some years now, Le Belge has been serving typical Belgian delicacies to the Hessian and international public. The aroma of Belgian waffles, which often wafts out into the street, or the prospect of an exceptional after-work beer attract guests to this original restaurant on Wilhelmsplatz.
The interior of the restaurant lives from its individual character: the colorful walls are lovingly decorated with funny accessories - so you will find many pictures next to old toys and a wide comic wall. Two areas are reserved for Belgium's two export hits: Tintin and Snowy have a colorful corner just for their adventures and Lucky Luke can call an entire salon his own. The focal point of Le Belge is undoubtedly the large wooden bar, whose gleaming taps already reveal the house specialty: over twenty different types of beer with all kinds of flavors from raspberry to peach to cherry flavor are on offer. And with a wide selection of draught, wheat and dark beers, barley juice lovers really won't be left wanting.
In addition to the many types of beer, Le Belge also has plenty of culinary delights on offer: of course there are typical Belgian fries, but also Brussels bread or tarte flambée and many other hearty delicacies. A specialty of the Belgian kingdom should of course not be missing from the menu - the waffles are a hit and the crowning glory of every visit.
Last but not least: the price-performance ratio is right, the food and beer menu is also available online (www.lebelge.de).
