KUNST.ORT.RUMPENHEIM e.V. (K.O.R)

It all began in 2001 when Rumpenheim artists and art enthusiasts launched the "Rumpenheimer Kunsttage" (Rumpenheim Art Days).

Since then, a good 50 creative people have been actively involved in the art days every September.

The overall organization with its diverse tasks became more and more extensive, so it was time to establish a professional basis: KUNST.ORT.RUMPENHEIM e.V. was founded, recognized as a non-profit association in June 2017.

However, organizing the "Rumpenheimer Kunsttage" is not our only task. The activities of K.O.R are intended to contribute to strengthening the district through artistic and cultural work.

Various presentations and exhibitions take place in the individual studios by the artists working there, as well as the association's own activities, including by the artists on our studio floor at Landgraf-Friedrich-Straße 1.

Studio exhibitions and participation in "Made in Rumpenheim" and "Offenbacher Kunstansichten" are currently planned.

The art project "Hauswandpoesie" by Rumpenheim artists Anja Hantelmann and Petra Maria Mühl (both K.O.R members) won 3rd prize from the Citoyen Foundation in 2018. The project will be visibly launched this year with words for more respect and tolerance on Rumpenheim house walls!

We have been awarding the DIANA ART PRIZE every year since 2020.
