Lebbe gehd waider - The Offenbach self-help group for mentally ill people
Description
Since 1995, the Offenbach group "Psychiatrie-Erfahrener Menschen" has been providing valuable support for people with mental illnesses. This dedicated self-help group has already helped many people to cope better with their everyday lives.
What we offer
Our group offers a wide range of activities to help people cope with everyday life more easily. These include discussion groups, leisure activities and creative activities. Our motto is: "Alone? Not with us!"
Open meeting
Our "Offener Treff" discussion group meets once a week. Here, those affected can exchange ideas and support each other in a safe environment. These meetings are financially supported by the Stadtmission and the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds (GKV). The open meeting takes place every Wednesday from 6 pm.
Creative painting in the talent shed
In addition to the discussion groups, we also offer creative painting in the "Talentschuppen". This offer provides space for artistic expression and relaxation. Painting always takes place on the first Sunday of the month from 13:30.
Participate and support
Our group is open to anyone who is looking for support or would like to share their experiences. Everyone is welcome, whether to take part in our activities or just to listen.
Come along and experience the community. You are not alone with us!
