Offenbacher Oratorienchor- Sängerverein 1826 e.V.

The Offenbach Oratorio Choir is one of the most traditional concert choirs in Germany, but is anything but outdated!

We combine high standards with individual voice training and fun singing in a good atmosphere. In the past, our repertoire has ranged from the Middle Ages to classical and romantic music to modern times, from minstrel songs to oratorios, operas, gospel and pop.

With our choir director Judith Bergmann (since February 2020), we are now also breaking new ground. Unfortunately, the size and composition of the choir does not allow us to sing large works at the moment, so we are increasingly turning to other, more modern musical styles (e.g. film music and jazzy arrangements).

We are very excited to see what will emerge from the venerable Offenbach Oratorio Choir!

We rehearse every Monday from 8 - 10 pm in the Paul-Gerhardt-Haus at Lortzingstraße 10.
