Prostate cancer self-help group Rhine-Main Offenbach

Description

The Rhine-Main Offenbach prostate cancer self-help group was founded in 1999.

Here, those affected can learn more about their cancer, its possible progression, treatment options and their consequences in a confidential setting, in addition to discussions with doctors, Internet searches and therapy suggestions.

From time to time, we invite specialists from various fields to give talks.

We openly discuss questions and topics raised by participants - in general or about their personal illness.

Cancer patients often do not want to burden their relatives or friends too much with their fears.

In our self-help group, you meet people who are going through the same hell and therefore have a deep understanding and an open ear for the psychological burden of a cancer diagnosis. But even if treatment has been successful, fears and anxieties often continue to dominate your thoughts.

Even in this situation, the exchange in our self-help group can be a great support. We are members of the Hesse Prostate Cancer Self-Help Association.

You can find more information at http://www.lpsh.de.

We are also supported by the GKV.
