At Theaterclub ELMAR e.V., everything is homemade. Around 100 members work in front of and behind the scenes on a voluntary basis: As actors, set builders, prompters, directors, costume designers, make-up artists, technicians or supervisors of the club's work with children and young people.

In 2011, the Elmar Theater Club celebrated its 100th anniversary. The winner of the Culture Prize of the City of Offenbach (2010) has been delighting audiences for a century with its comedies, farces and children's theater. The theater club is famous for its Christmas fairy tales at the Capitol. Around 100 members in front of and behind the stage work on a voluntary basis as actors, set builders, prompters, directors, costume designers, make-up artists, technicians or supervisors of the club's work with children and young people.
