On the occasion of Kunstansichten 2023, the Kunstverein
Offenbach e. V. presents 12 regional artists in its
in its 280 square meter exhibition space on the upper floor
of the KOMM Center on Aliceplatz.
Founded in 1977, the Kunstverein Offenbach is a non-profit,
registered association of committed citizens
citizens of the city, which brings high-quality and above all moving
art to the people. With around 40 cultural
cultural events every year and open six days a week
days of the week, Offenbach's cultural prize winner has become
a popular and sought-after exhibition venue for artists from
from Germany and abroad.
The association is a member of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher
Kunstvereine (ADKV) and cooperates with the Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG)
for Design (HfG) and the Offenbach Artists' Association
(BOK). It also organizes and maintains the OFFENBACHER
ARTOTHEK, a collection of over 600 works of art.
Around 100 members and many volunteers contribute
around 3,000 hours of voluntary work every year. The
art is seen as the "salt of life" or a
or "mirror of the zeitgeist" in the center of society,
with the result of an inspiring exchange between
artists and citizens.
