Beschreibung
The basis of my painting is photography: snapshots, staged scenes and scenes from everyday life in which I capture certain pictorial ideas. My painting moves in the field of tension between naturalistic depiction and abstractions created by painterly surfaces. This juxtaposition of naturalistic representation and abstraction is reflected in the use of two painting techniques, oil and acrylic painting, which I combine in my pictures.
