In my artistic work, I am interested in exploring material, color and
and form again and again. My favorite things are
not everyday means of painting and a free mixture of
techniques of representation. There is also no commitment to
a particular material. Wood, metal, ceramics and paper
I like to work alternately.
The current works on display are mainly made from painted
and woven paper on the theme of visibility
and alienation. They are pictorial objects with robust haptic
qualities. Torn and cut pieces are assembled into a new
into a new arrangement in the manner of basket weaving.
Each intersection of stripes is a miniature pictorial world of its own
in the large overall weave. Ambivalent "interweavings"
with new temporal, content-related and spatial dimensions
emerge.
