The starting point of my work or design is often a sketchy, figurative model - the human body. By embedding the content in a narrative context, a new perspective and challenge is created. Further artistic exploration with wood carving, modeling in clay and cement or glass sculpting. However, I prefer the watercolor technique and drawing - nudes and portraits based on models - on various types of paper. I have also explored acrylic and oil painting. These paintings are often free, expressive or figurative. For me, color is more than an expression and stylistic device with which moods and feelings are depicted. Color is much more than a tool to achieve spatial effects, light and shadow. Color is the elixir that gives life, power and magic to the work - born of creativity, skills and techniques.
