Small and creative

The dream of flying has inspired young and old alike since time immemorial. Since last fall, the zeppelin has played a central role in the club. After years, Brigitte Wichlei has finally found a school. And so our eldest still goes to school once a week. The six to ten-year-old pupils at the Hafen-Schule are working on their first book of their lives, which will be published during the school year. The youngsters learn from the older ones and vice versa, the older ones also learn, because the fact that an airship like a zeppelin can only fly in the air was also new to some adults, for example. As adults, we like to be inspired and impressed by the growing enthusiasm and creativity of the little ones. This fascinating project quickly became an art project in the sense of a social sculpture. The excursions to the Zeppelin Museum and to the descendants of Count Zeppelin at Brandenstein Castle even bring history to life - parents are also drawn in as companions. Our personal memories of our own creative path to art also came alive. How could a group of young tinkerers become the great engineers and inventors of tomorrow - or - how could the little creative creatures one day become great artists? It is always our thoughts that create our reality. But it is the thoughts of these children that can create their personal dreams for the future. A zeppelin ride over the Offenbach harbor, where the students on the ground in the harbor school would wave to their classmates in the zeppelin above, could become an unforgettable dream. We will therefore specifically invite the Offenbach book children with their parents and their friends to the vernissage on Friday, May 5, 2023 as our most important visitors and participants in this year's KUNSTANSICHTEN 2023. The presentation of the works of the little tinkerers alongside the artworks of the CreativHaus association members follows our aim to inspire and promote the artists and inventors of tomorrow.
