For more than 25 years, I have been working with the St. Andrew's cross and its potential for artistic representation. I depict this X-shape in a wide variety of creative variations - in different formats both as a three-dimensional object made of wood and two-dimensionally as a painting on canvas or paper.

Over the course of time, the shape of the cross has changed more and more, almost completely fading into the background and becoming difficult for the viewer to recognize. It can now only be recognized in the wooden box shapes of different sizes, which are painted and fixed to each other in a structure-spanning manner similar to a mosaic.
