MARILENA FARACI

In my abstract works, I deal with various life themes that find expression in a mostly formless design. The leitmotifs are different. Through colors, forms, structure and lines, a creative realization takes place. It is an attempt to capture spontaneous memories, feelings and states, partly random and partly deliberately set compositions. My approach is improvisational and free. I paint with a fixed component, which is oil paint. I combine it with other materials and surfaces. I use lines to create accents and contrasts. I like the colorfulness and the energy that can be expressed with it. The dynamism that is present in every moment.
