Maryam Abtahi

We are presenting our illustrations of a collection of old
Persian fairy tales that have been passed down orally for
generations on our maternal side.
Finally, as the last storyteller in this chain, our mother
wrote down these stories in her Telegram app and made
them available to us digitally.
These fairy tales come from a female storytelling tradition,
and the wishes and hopes of the storytellers are reflected in
the content of the stories.
