My painting moves between abstraction and figuration.
It is associative and inspired by inner images and visions
that offer the viewer a deep conversation.
For a long time, as a judge and lawyer, I challenged my left,
rational hemisphere. As a painter
I want to find a balance and bring all the richness of my
right hemisphere into my paintings. I doodle
and write in my pictures, creating a meta-level in my work.

and the picture reveals itself to me; the shapes and colors
become clearer, and from there I record it until the work

My main medium is oil, it is so soft, it forgives mistakes
and the colors have so much depth. In the end, the oil is everywhere,
not just on the painting. But I love this creative
mess. For me, it's like Arno Geiger once said:
"Art doesn't save us from chaos, it saves us from order."
