TATIANA VDOVENKO
Beschreibung
In "Waterlines" by Tatiana Vdovenko, the viewer is confronted
confronted with photographs of destruction and the aesthetics
aesthetics inherent in this chaos. The images are for the most part
mostly unrecognizable, almost ghostly censored,
yet the extent of the catastrophe is visible.
Here, places and objects of memory are fragmented,
jumbled up and destroyed.
However, "Waterlines" eludes the production of interchangeable
images of catastrophes on digital data carriers
and transports the images back into the sphere of the haptic and
and aging analog photographic print.
