TROIS FOIS

One place, three rooms, one theme, three practices. Where type was once cast and offset printed in Offenbach's Hinterhaus, three artists are showing drawings, photographs and spatial interventions. Individual studios, shared exchange: three to one, triple or trois fois. The artists work under one roof and encounter each other in their different perspectives on book/dance/urban space, movement and rhythm. Uta Schneider works on paper - and often together - in the hand medium of the book and on the wall medium of drawing. Marie-Anne Augustin devotes herself to movement improvisation and spatial intervention - mostly interdisciplinary. Simon Malz casts his photographic gaze into the outdoor space, into the urban environment and gives weight to the incidental. Spontaneity, chance and rhythm meet concept, choreography and reflection.
