Stadtbiotop is an initiative of individuals who want to make visible today what the city of tomorrow can look like. Utopian, personal and always with a wink. Today's city does not allow us the common space to stroll, linger, play and babble. Cars and concrete surfaces dominate meeting places. Paths have become a necessity, neighbors have become strangers. People are pushed to the edge of the street. Neighborhood and city life cannot develop. We want to change that!
We are a non-commercial, voluntary initiative, a loose association of neighbors, friends, acquaintances, in other words, Offenbach residents. Every now and then we win a supporter award, receive donations of materials from private individuals or theaters or get a grant for green strips and gardens. We pay the rest ourselves.
