Stumbling stone for Katinka and August Baum

Katinka Baum came from the Andorn family and was born on March 4, 1884 in Niederrodenbach. She married Alfred Baum on March 10, 1912. He died in the meantime, because in May 1939 she moved from Wallertheim to Offenbach as a widow.

August Baum, single and probably Katinka Baum's brother-in-law, was born on August 24, 1878 and came with her from Wallertheim to Offenbach. Together with Katinka Baum and Ida Wolf, he was deported to Poland on September 30, 1942. His date of death is said to have been December 31, 1945.

Katinka and August Baum are listed in the memorial book as "Missing - Poland" The local court has set the date of Katinka Baum's death as May 8, 1945.
