History Workshop Offenbach

Beschreibung

Once a year, the Geschichtswerkstatt invites you to clean the Stolpersteine, which commemorate Offenbach residents murdered during the Nazi era

The Offenbach History Workshop is a group of local researchers who meet every 4 to 6 weeks and work on individual projects in working groups. Their activities also include joint visits to exhibitions and memorial sites. It is open to all interested parties, including young people and people with no previous knowledge.

On request, the History Workshop organizes city tours by bus through Offenbach City to places of Nazi terror, the persecution of Jews, forced labour, book burning and resistance. Tours of the city can also be offered on mornings for school classes on specific topics. In addition, the History Workshop offers support for school project weeks or history work with young people, for example by providing contemporary witnesses.
