Wildbachschule (inclusive elementary school with independent sponsorship)
Description
Since August 2019, there has been an inclusive elementary school that sees itself as an outdoor school. This means that lessons for primary school children take place outside the classroom for one day a week, regardless of the weather and season.
The idea of an outdoor school fits in with the Wildbachschule's concept of holistic and interdisciplinary learning, which comes close to the natural, incidental learning of all children. The focus is not only on acquiring skills by learning knowledge in the classroom, but also on active experience and direct experience, enabling a variety of experiences and the acquisition of skills in different natural and cultural spaces.
